The Kent Trouvaille was notorious for being shipped with the chain being routed wrong through the derailleur which will cause poop shifting. Seth from Berm Peak covered this, and Wolftick found one live at a Walmart during a video last fall. Here is a different shorter video on fixing this and proof it was an issue. Something easily overlooked.Hi guys so i bought a kent trouvaille, and it arrived in not so great condition. The derailleur cage is bent and going towards the spokes. I contacted walmart and they discounted 20 percent off the original price. I dont mind replacing derailleur and hanger but im unsure if the frame is also bent which makes it not worth fixing.

I've read that both Ledges may have questionable parts & longevity on the trail compared to the Kent which some say the Kent has a better fork & drivetrain than the Ledges. But the Kent isn't full squish, it has 29" wheels vs the 27.5" wheels I prefer on the Ledges & Kent's tires are 2.4" vs Ledges' 2.6" and I prefer larger tires.
